Learn to carve your own comfort bird

Join the North West Woodcraft Guild Inc. at Hive for a relaxed afternoon learning the art of woodcarving.

Led by master woodcrafter Sue, this small-group workshop will guide you through the process of creating a beautifully smooth and curvy comfort bird designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.

You’ll learn how to select and prepare timber, safely use carving knives, and finish your piece using a Dremel, sandpaper and oil.

No previous woodcarving experience is needed, and with just five places available, there’ll be plenty of hands-on guidance.
