Help shape the future of the Coast to Cradle Wild Country

The Coast to Cradle Wild Country stretches from the Central Coast all the way to Cradle mountain. A working group is bringing together a community-led vision for this wild landscape and multi-use nature reserve, and we’re inviting you to be a part of shaping that vision.

By joining this Community Workshop, your ideas, dreams and hopes for the future of this landscape will feed into a report for the local council, community and government on how to bring this opportunity to life.

24th September, 6-7 pm
Penguin Surf Life Saving Club, 68/62 Preservation Dr, Preservation Bay TAS 7316

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome, no experience needed! Do you live in the area or have connections to the area? Are you a visitor passing through? Do you spend time outside? Do you do any recreational outdoor activities? Do you own a business in the area? Whoever you are, we'd like your thoughts to help shape this community-led vision!

What is the Coast to Cradle Wild Country?

The Coast to Cradle Wild Country is a largely connected landscape of Parks & Wildlife Service-managed land of various tenures that links the Central Coast to Cradle Mountain, broadly encompassing the Dial Range, Loyetea Range, Three Brothers, the Leven Canyon and Black Bluff through to Cradle. Nationally and globally, the Leven River and the Penguin to Cradle Trail connect significant wild country.
