Ulverstone Heart Making Workshop

  • Ulverstone Redcross Hall 49 King Edward Street Ulverstone, TAS, 7315 Australia (map)

Join us for a friendly and welcoming craft session to make some hearts for our Brain Injury Awareness Week 2026 campaign 'Hearts for Brain Injuries'!

This event is happening in both Hobart and Ulverstone.

Each heart represents one of the estimated 7,700 Tasmanians who acquire a brain injury each year. The hearts will form a meaningful art installation before being redistributed to people impacted by brain injury through front line services.

Everyone is welcome - people living with brain injury, as well as families and carers, and service providers.

No craft experience is necessary. We will provide some materials, but these will be limited. Please bring along any fabric, thick cotton/wool and needles if you have them at home.
