Susannah Coleman-Brown joins contemporary bluegrass and folk artist Thomas Mitchell for a special duo performance, premiering a suite of her original songs in an intimate arrangement for voice and two acoustic guitars. For this performance, Susannah’s expressive vocals and storytelling are paired with Thomas Mitchell’s contemporary bluegrass sensibility and intricate acoustic guitar work, creating a stripped-back, richly textured sound.
Susannah has performed across Australia and internationally, collaborating with artists including Shane Howard, Lou Bennett, Kutcha Edwards and Alex Pertout. Her distinctive voice has been described as soulful, rich and sublime, with a rare combination of warmth, emotional depth and earthy intensity. Her music has featured in film and television, including the Australian feature film One Perfect Day and Foxtel’s The Kettering Incident. Her acclaimed recordings span folk, roots, blues and jazz, most recently Hunger & Fate.
2 session times per performance at 1-2pm / 3-4pm. $30 per ticket (no concessions).
