Hailing from Launceston, Captain O’Brien’s Craic is a powerhouse seven-piece ensemble that has become a staple of the Tasmanian festival circuit. Blending the raw, rebellious energy of punk and rock with the spirited melodies of traditional Irish and Celtic music, they deliver what they describe as a "fiery spirit" that effectively turns any venue into a raucous pub session.
Since hitting the scene, the band has earned a reputation for high-octane live performances at major local events, including Festivale, the Tassie Scallop Fiesta, and the Australian Wooden Boat Festival.
