New Mornings are proud to present Share the Sunshine – A Community Picnic for Mental Health Week, a free, family-friendly event celebrating connection, belonging and wellbeing in our community.
Join us on Saturday 3 October, from 11am–3pm at Bicentennial Park, Ulverstone, near the Beach Hut Café and Soundshell, for a relaxed afternoon in the sunshine.
Bring a picnic rug, bring a friend – or come along on your own and meet someone new. Enjoy free picnic boxes, conversation cards, craft and wellbeing activities, outdoor games, a Take a Minute mindfulness walk, and a line dancing demonstration where you can join in or simply enjoy the show.
If you're flying solo, pull up a spot at our Community Blanket, a welcoming place to meet new people and share the day with others. You'll also have the chance to connect with local community groups and support services, learning more about ways you can get involved with your community.
Share the Sunshine is about making connection simple: getting outdoors, sharing food, having a laugh, trying something new and reminding ourselves that sometimes the little moments of connection can make a big difference.
