FAMILY SCIENCE DAY at Hive returns with a showcase of amazing science activities. With National Science Week’s theme of Decoding the Universe, the program includes presentations, workshops, extra planetarium shows and an expo of Tasmanian science and Scientists.
SCIENCE CENTRE EXPO
Tasmanian Science Centre, Level 2 at Hive. 10am – 4pm, August 9
Hive’s Science Centre is going to be overflowing with interactive experiences for all the family, with pop-up stalls by scientists from across Tasmania.
We will also be joined by four of the incredible Young Tassie Scientists with varying specialisations, who will be presenting a range of hands-on activities.
…and don’t forget there will also be the crowd-favourite Derby Track to test your car engineering skills!!
PLANETARIUM SHOWS
There are 4 planetarium shows scheduled as part of the Family Science Day program.
