Workshop – Slippery Slime
In this workshop, participants will make two different slimes, explore their properties and best of all they will get to take home some of each slime!
Children will make slime with guar gum and other ingredients and explore the differences.
Lab coats and glasses will be provided but please wear clothes that can get a bit dirty, just in case.
Suitable for ages 5+.

This workshop is presented by Hvie staff, having been initially developed by Colin from Science and Wonders. The workshop takes place in Hive’s Studio One.

This hands-on workshop is also suitable for interested children attending without adults and does not assume any particular science knowledge. However, due to the nature of practical science an ability to follow the presenter’s instructions is required.
Participants will need to be at Hive by the designated start time. Children must be accompanied by an adult, supervising adults do not require a ticket to accompany their child for this workshop.
