Come one come all. Bring the kids, the grand kids and anyone else you can fit in the car! It's time for the Harvest Moon Carrot Festival!

This free event is in its 5th year and has become a much-loved local festival in Forth. Keep the kids entertained with face painting, balloons, sample bags, digging for carrots, coloring in and much more, or perhaps they'd like the chance to climb onto the seat of tractor!
Every year there's new ideas for carrot recipes and the opportunity to taste those delicious recipes. If that doesn't fill you up there's freshly squeezed juice and of course a BBQ!
A favorite activity for this event is the tours given of the factory facilities of Harvest Moon. These narrated tours are an hour long and travel between several different produce washing, sorting and packing stations, giving a fascinating look into how our fresh Tasmanian produce makes it from our farms onto the shelves of your local stores.
