Come and Try Clogging - Free Session

Come and Try Clogging St George’s Church Hall, Cnr Cattley & Mount Streets, Burnie from 9am to 10am.  Please register your interest by email cradlecoastcloggers@gmail.com or phone 0415 922 433.  For more information about clogging, go to www.cloggingaustralia.com What is Clogging?  It’s not Dutch and we don’t wear wooden shoes!  Originally from the Applachian Mountains in USA, it is a tap-style dance with traditional links to bluegrass and old-time string band music.  In its modern form,  clogging is choreographed to all different types of music, and in Australia it is generally taught in a casual and friendly club atmosphere.  Are you looking for a new activity or pastime?  Come and give Clogging a go in 2019!  No partner and no special clothing required.  Just wear comfortable flat shoes to start out – jingle taps added later.  After this session, you can join one or more of our regular classes: Penguin Mondays at 6pm, Wynyard Tuesdays at 6pm and Burnie Wednesdays at 7pm.
