Eco-friendly - Zero Waste gifts: make beeswax wraps too

Eco-friendly ~ Zero waste gifts: make beeswax wraps too – RESEED Centre, 30 King Edward Street, Penguin from 10am to 12noon or 1.30pm to 3.30pm. This workshop aims to give participants ideas for Zero waste and eco-friendly gifting, including alternatives to single use wrapping. All participants, young and old will get hands on to make bees wax wraps and a quirky little pot of toothpaste to take home. There will be time to browse the many tempting gifting ideas on show that can easily be made at home. Many of the examples are re-purposing objects into other useful gifts. We will also have a trade table on the day. Let us all embrace this time of giving, with a personal gift that echoes our ecological values and our motives for treading more lightly on this precious earth. This event is child friendly (must be accompanied by an adult). Cost $25 Adult, Child/Student $20. Bookings are essential. Call Cassie on 0436 466 945.
