Remembrance Day Ulverstone 2016
This year November 11th marks the 98th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18). Each year on this day Australians observe one minutes silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts. A wreath laying service will be held at the Ulverstone Cenotaph (clock) at 10.45am.
All members of the community are encouraged to attend and are asked to assemble on the grassed area in Light Horse Park. Wreath layers are welcome.
Enquiries to the Ulverstone RSL Sub-Branch on 6425 1942 (leave a message if phone is unattended).
